Update Cracked Adobe Cs6 Mac
I’ve spent two days trying to install the DPS Desktop tools to InDesign, but keep getting an Adobe installer failed message stating that ‘the Administrator has suppressed updates on this machine’, even though I am using an administrator account. Then I read on the Adobe forum (after uninstalling and reinstalling InDesign several times) that the update might not be the most recent – sure enough, I had 9.0. So, I just downloaded an InDesign update for 9.2.1 from your website and I get the same adobe install error. So, please can you suggest what I need to do to make these updates install. I’ve tried changing the privileges in the Get Info panel but it won’t let me drill down into the architecture of the folders very far before they grey out. I am running a late 2011 MacBook Pro using Mavericks.
Many thanks, Helen Metcalfe. Hey there Carl, it sounds like your browser (especially IE) may have dropped or changed the file extension when downloading the program In that case, your computer might not know how to open it, or might think it’s a text file instead. If that happens, you would need to to add back the proper file extension You have to hover your mouse over the link above and check what it is at the end; usually for Windows it’s a.exe or.7z or.zip file.
Keep in mind however that Acrobat XI is 3 years old now, and not the current version – the latest release is. I’ve been trying for days to download my purchase of Adobe Photoshop on my Mac (OS X El Capitan Version 1.011.2). It goes through the motions of uploading, asks me for my name and password and reasons for using Photoshop, then a message comes up saying “Sorry Installation Failed – An known error has occurred P1Quit”.
I have turned off my firewall, turned computer on and off, cleared all previous Adobe apps as far as I can see (I am not very technical) Same thing keeps on happening GGGGrrrrr Can anyone help me pleeasssein layman’s terms if possible.
This is not a complaint about the Creative Cloud, and I don't mean to start a discussion about its merits. I spent more than an hour and a half with various departments at Adobe trying to sort out the Creative Cloud issues. They seem quite confused about it. Adobe spokespeople have said that you do not need to lose your current CS6 (the serial number version, they call it) to use the new version (13.1 which is already available). The two can run side by side. However, tech support says you must uninstall CS6 in order to use any version downloaded from the Creative Cloud.

Adobe has always (sometimes confusingly) allowed you to run more than one version of PhotoShop (or Lightroom) on the same computer, in addition to various betas etc. I'm reluctant to uninstall a license I own in order to run a version I haven't seen and that requires a continuing payment. I've signed up for the Creative Cloud and I will give it a chance, but it won't allow me to download the latest version, because there are no more updates to CS6. But actually there are.
Version 13.1 has some nice new features and is available only to Creative Cloud members, which I now am. But apparently not members who have 13.0.1 installed.
So I have paid my money, but cannot get the product without uninstalling my current CS6, which I am reluctant to do. Anyone have experience with this? Wick Smith wrote: This is not a complaint about the Creative Cloud, and I don't mean to start a discussion about its merits.

Well I will relate my experience and hope it helps. When I joined CC, I didnt uninstall my existing PS CS6.
I simply downloaded the new version. When it had all finished I was mildly surprised to see nothing had changed. No sign of a Photoshop CC. My existing PS had simply been updated to version 13.1.2 (actually I wasnt even sure it had been updated because I didnt know the version beforehand.) I subsequently had problems with the installation so uninstalled PS. I went to my application manager and downloaded. (I also paid a little attention.) First of all it download '13.0.0' and then it updated '13.1.2 for the Creative Cloud'.
So I am guessing that when the PS CC update comes in June it will leave CS6 on the computer and install PS CC. Alternatively it may well uninstall CS6 when it installs CC.
Adobe seems to make a big deal out of the difference between CS6 which has a serial number, also known as perpetual license CS 6 and CS 6 downloaded from the creative cloud. Let's call the first one CS 6A and the second one CS 6B. CS 6A cannot be updated to CS 6B. CS 6A has reached the end of its updates at Version 13.0.1.
If you were able to update CS6A through the creative cloud, then it turned into CS6B and you will lose access to it if you don't pay every month. Your original CS6 has been replaced and you will lose access to it unless you reinstall from disc or update file. This is my current understanding, awaiting further clarification. Wick This isnt quite my understanding from trawling the Adobe forum. My understanding is this. If you leave your existing CS6 'perpetual license' on your computer and join CC, then when you connect to Adobe, it will update your existing CS6 license.
If, for instance, you have CS6 (not extended) you will get an update to CS6 without the 'extended' features that you would get from CS6 with CC. If you uninstall your CS6 'perpetual license' you will get a full CS6 and will be asked to authenticate it using your Adobe CC login.
It would then seem 'likely' that when Adobe CC actually arrives which will be 'mid-June', that it will replace the Adobe CS6 'CC' but would leave a CS6 'perpetual license' on your computer and that the new Adobe CC will have to be authenticated by your Adobe CC login. I would stress that this is my 'understanding' about how things are working and going to work.
The reality is that we wont know for sure until the 'new' Adobe CC comes in June. Given that the current Adobe 13.1.2 for creative cloud up date doesnt really add much (or anything I can notice) it could be prudent to avoid the update and await the Adobe CC actual release. If it is this confusing, why would I bother to install CC.
I would rather wait, till I find out what the real story is, which will only be known after mid June. I also know, CC is new and usually will have bugs, and are generally fixed on revision 1. All the more reason to wait for a year at least and see, how CC works out. Meanwhile use CS5 or CS6 (if the new features work for you).
But if you have CS6, installing CC may mess up CS6 and not CS5. Antioch wrote: If it is this confusing, why would I bother to install CC. Regards I actually agree. Of course CS3/4/5 users might like to use CS6 for US$10 a month while they wait for PS CC. Also it is worth remembering that the US$10/month (first year) offer is only good until July 31st but that is still well after PS CC comes out. I have to admit I was rather taken in by the splash at Adobe.com.
Whoopee!!note the 'all new PS CC apps are coming in June' is in pretty small writing. I rather thought there might be some more toys for me to play with if I signed up right away. But as you rightly say, there is no rush.

What's to be gained, other than paying an extra months' subscription price to Adobe? I believe the discounted pricing is good through the end of June, so once CC is available in mid-June is when I would do it. Until then, CS6 will do.
