I have been using the Kjerhaus Classic series for several years now. They're a decent bundle. I don't think they're stereo? Vol Fcr 1 7 Cracker. Maybe they are. Either way I like them. Recently I've been using the ReaDelay. Sda Standard Compliant Sd Host Controller Driver Download For Windows 7.

I like it that it tempo sincs. But I'm not thrilled with the sound at times. Other times it's fine. Still on the search though. Any others that are great? For my master limiter I use the Kjerhaus Classic Master Limiter and it'd decent when I use it right.

Anything else out there that works well? Seems like with ProTools a lot of people still use DVerb even with all of the good plugins out there. It's a simple but good reverb.

Seems like the ReaVerb is also pretty good. I usually setup a short to medium reverb send that is panned almost left and a longer reverb that's almost right. This seems to give a nice stereo spacious effect.

But is there something else I should know about? I've found in ReaVerb (with Pipeline Audio IR files) the one and only reverb I'm going to need in the next years.

I also find the other Cockos VSTs (specially the compressor and EQ) very good sounding, with a simple but effective interface. I just dont really need anymore. Thanks, Cockos! What are the Pipeline IR files? Also, I looked at the Mega free VST only thread. I have a lot of that so I must have seen that in the past.

One thing I noticed though is a B3 emulator called Nubi LE and Spinner LE. I tried the links I found posted and they didn't get anywhere. Any tips on that? I'm currently using Organized Trio and though it's ok I'm always a little annoyed at the realism especially with the Leslie on fast. They've improved it but they charge for it. I'm trying to keep things on the free or cheap.

The developer very unfortunately quit offering these some time ago. You might try these links I dl'ed something like the original NuBi & spinner from there a couple years back.

I do have AND prefer the original NuBi to the Organized Trio but use the McDonald Leslie simulator (from the same guy who offers the OrTrio) instead of the Spinner. McDonald sounds better to me and is still available. For EQ, Compressor and Delay, I'm using the FabFilter Mixing Suite. They are fairly expensive plugins. However, in terms of sound and especially the interface, they are unmatched.

I also like that they use unobtrusive licensing and that they support all the standard formats. They have great demo videos on YouTube. They also have a highly-rated limiter plugin called Pro-L but I have never used it.

For reverb, I'm still using WizooVerb W2, a convolution reverb that was discontinued many years ago. It is 32bit only and the only reason why I haven't upgraded to 64bit yet (it doesn't work well bridged in my experience). I have tried all the popular reverbs hoping to find a modern replacement. But I have never found another reverb which sounds as good.

2CAudio Breeze It is an algorythmic reverb. The samples on the 2CAudio website sound absolutely fabulous. I have yet to try it with Reaper (or investigate their licensing / activation policies) but it very well could be the reverb that makes me give up on WizooVerb. Have you checked out Valhalla Room for an algo verb? The thing is with these kinds of questions is that everyone will recommend what they use and as no one has EVERY plugin then you can't get a proper answer. With that in mind I will recommend the plugins that I use daily. Delay: Rob Papen Delay - Ohmboyz Delay - UAD Space Echo. Reverb: UAD Plate 140, Dreamverb, IR's used in a free player. Compressors: Nebula Pro 3 (multiple libraries) UAD - Fairchild, LA2A, The Glue. I have tried many plugin over the last 12 years and including many mentioned in this thread and these are the ones I use every day.

It makes the band look better, it makes me look better, it makes everything look better if the performance there is as good as it can get, which instantly translates into better sound overall. And so I educate the band on how to record a good line-signal for re-amping at home or whatever. Where they can take their time and get a stellar performance for 2 weeks instead of 4 days in the studio. Just eating up valueable time that could be much better spent on mixing for instance. =D>best way to do it!
